Description

ABNCo. Santa Fe Train Vignette and King George VI Portrait.
These well-preserved engravings were steel-plate printed and were either cut from the inserted pages found in The Story of the American Bank Note Company by William H. Griffiths, New York, 1959 or from pages that were never bound in the highly respected above mentioned tome. We believe the latter option as being the more viable. The Santa Fe train vignette measures approximately 3.75 by 2.25 inches and the King George VI portrait is 2.25 by 3.75. They are great items to match up with either a note or a stock certificate that uses these engravings. This lot is being sold without an estimate. No returns will be accepted on this lot for any reason. (Total: 2 items)
