Rare Spanish-American War Bond
$20 Spanish-American War BondA lovely oversize United State 3% Loan of 1898 Bond, a twenty year loan which was callable in 1908 and payable if not called earlier in 1918. This bond was issued to finance the Spanish-American War, and is the first of its kind we have ever had to offer. The reverse is an ornate design in green, the face is printed in brown. At the bottom of the bond is a presentation message in Italian. Very Fine+, a very rare item, which likely will exceed our very conservative estimate.
