Series 481 $10 PCGS Second Printing Gold Shield Gem Unc 65 OPQ.The $5 and $10 denominations of Series 481 had three different printings each, while the 5¢ through $1 denominations had four printings each. The above facts also hold true for the replacements for each denomination. Therefore, this series easily wins the MPC printing variety derby by many lengths. The Second Printing $10 in this lot is well margined and has earned the OPQ grade modifier for Original Paper Quality. The last high grade $10 from the Second Printing that crossed our auction block was in April 2021 and that PMG Choice Uncirculated 64 example realized $1,140. The Gem 65 OPQ MPC in this lot should shoot past that amount.
