Fr. 372 $20 1890 Treasury Note PMG Very Fine 30.
Serial number A342033 has a brief history as it originally turned up in a New Orleans estate that was consigned to our January 1997 Orlando auction. It was purchased by our consignor and returns to the market after 29 years. Friedberg 372 has a recorded Track & Price population of only 67 serial numbers and eight of those are in the collections of various Federal Reserve Banks, the Smithsonian Institution, and the ANA Museum. Minor black ink is observed on the back.
