Fr. 363 $5 1891 Treasury Note PCGS Banknote Choice VF 35.A delightful example with the appearance of a higher grade is offered here. Natural paper wave is visible on the back, while ideal inks and white paper are observed on both sides. General George H. Thomas is best remembered as the "Rock of Chickamauga." It is a far better nickname than others that he had before the Battle of Chickamauga in September 1863. Some of those other nicknames were, "Slow Trot Thomas," "Old Slow Trot," and "Pap."
