Fr. 359 $5 1890 Treasury Note PCGS Apparent Very Choice New 64.A beautifully original Treasury Five with good colors and bright paper, this piece lacks the margins for a higher grade but the eye appeal certainly makes up for any minor deficiencies. The 1890 series with the ornate back design is multiples scarcer than the 1891 series, especially so in high grades. Some embossing is still retained and the restorations mentioned are exceedingly difficult to pinpoint.
