Fr. 354 $2 1890 Treasury Note CGA Gem Uncirculated 65. Less that thirty examples of Fr. 354 are known to exist and of that group only three are known to us as grading New or better. In CAA's 28 sales we have sold eight examples, the best of which graded Very Fine. This beautiful note sold in Lyn Knight's November 1999 sale for $19,800, and with the current markets emphasis on notes where quality and rarity combine, we would expect a far better result this evening.
