Fr. 353 $2 1890 Treasury Note PCGS Banknote Very Fine 30 PPQ.The large brown seal is exhibited on this lovely McPherson. Series 1891 $2 Treasury Notes outnumber the 1890s by a margin of more than three to one. This rarity disparity and the bold green ornate back results in strong realizations for problem-free mid-grade notes like this, particularly for examples with the PPQ designation. In our 2020 FUN auction, we sold a PMG 30 EPQ example for $4,200.
