Description
Elusive Fr. 332
Fr. 332 $50 1891 Silver Certificate PMG Very Fine 25.A note that will bump up the Track & Price Census to a paltry 23 for this elusive Friedberg number. That number is inflated by the two that are held by the holdings of the Chicago and San Francisco Federal Reserve Banks. Also, PMG has graded only 10 Fr. 332 examples in total with none higher and just three equal. Track & Price only lists one note graded higher and it last traded hands over a decade ago. Traits noticed of this offering are nice color and white paper for a mid-grade note. Minor repairs are mentioned on the third party back label and we noticed a couple of small repairs in the top margin that were skillfully executed and are only viewable when the note is backlit. This Everett $50 faces up nicely for the grade making it a desirable addition to an advanced collection.
