Description

Fr. 321 $20 1891 Silver Certificate PMG Very Fine 25.
The Series 1887 and 1891 Silver Certificates served as memorials of sorts to Daniel Manning who served as Secretary of the Treasury from 1885-1887 before resigning in March 1887 due to ill health. He died on December 24, 1887. This example has seen some time in circulation but has no repairs or meaningful distractions except for perhaps some pinholes mentioned by PMG.
