Description

Fr. 292 $10 1886 Silver Certificate PMG Choice Extremely Fine 45 NET. PMG has commented, "Corner Reconstruction, Trimmed," both of which are correct. The margins are slightly irregular and quite close all around, and the upper-right corner tip of the note is nicely restored and nearly unnoticeable from either side, although it can be seen when the note is candled. Fr. 292 is the second most common of the 1886 Tombstones, and this rather good looking XF example will likely sell for VF money.
