This Educational $5, bearing serial number 29, is one of the very finest type notes of any kind we have ever been privileged to handle in any of our sales. Framed by broad, even margins on both front and back, the print quality, originality and overall eye appeal are clearly exceptional. This is the only Educational $5 of any Friedberg number to merit the Superb Gem New 68PPQ grade from PCGS, and PMG has graded only one Educational $5 of any number at this grade level as well. Our consignor obtained this note nearly twenty five years ago from an individual who had purchased it from Aubrey Bebee in the early 1950's for $12.50. It has certainly gone up in value since then.
