Description

Fr. 267 $5 1891 Silver Certificate PCGS Extremely Fine 40.
The $5 Silver in this lot retains bold green back ink colors and overall even margins. A well printed portrait of Ulysses S. Grant appears at right on the face. Only a few light folds preclude this piece from achieving a higher grade. We auctioned a PCGS XF 40PPQ graded note of this number in October 2025 which fetched $2,640.

Estimate: $2,000 - up.
