Fr. 265 the Rarest of the Silver Dollar Backs
Fr. 265 $5 1886 Silver Certificate PCGS Extremely Fine 40.The rarest of the Silver Dollar Backs with a Track & Price census of only forty notes. The great majority of those notes grade VF and below. This PCGS 40 is one of only seven that they have graded. A tough note in any grade and quite rare at this level. When this note last sold in June 2011, it realized $8,050, a number that should be easily passed this evening.
