Fr. 256 $2 1899 Silver Certificate PMG Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ.The 1899 $2 design was the last large size $2 Silver Certificate type issued. Typical of the time, the design was a bit minimalist in character with lots of white space on both the face and back. Nonetheless, this note is still quite striking with vibrant colors, excellent paper, and more than ample margins.
