Fr. 254 $2 1899 Silver Certificate PCGS Superb Gem New 67PPQ.A stunning $2 Silver that comes from a run of low numbered pieces reported in the census. This particular note had been off the market for over a decade when it last sold for more than $7,000. That number was uncommonly high for 1899 $2 Silvers at the time. The note bears full, even margins, solid colors, and prominent embossing. A lovely piece.
