Fr. 247 $2 1896 Silver Certificate PMG Choice Uncirculated 64.Series 1891 $2 Silver Certificates were produced in slightly larger numbers than the $2 Educational notes. Luckily for collectors, the incredible design ensured a much higher survival rate, which still seems inadequate for the marketplace demand. The margins are ample enough that they rival many of the Gems we've handled, and the printed details are sharp with a perfectly centered face design.
