Union General Winfield Scott Hancock, a key figure related to the Battle of Gettysburg, was honored on this 1886 $2 Silver Certificate which was issued after his death on February 9, 1886. The note is well printed and features the distinctive large brown spiked Treasury seal and elaborate green decorative back. PMG mentions some small tears which are hardly noticeable.
