Fr. 242 $2 1886 Silver Certificate PMG Choice Uncirculated 64 EPQ.There is only a single auction appearance recorded for B7729218 and that was when it was lot 2762 in our January 1997 Winter auction. We graded it as Very Choice New in those pre-encapsulation days when notes actually touched your hands. Our description mentioned that this gorgeous Hancock Deuce had lovely colors and original embossing. It has only been recently graded by PMG and their grade of 64 EPQ only confirms our earlier examination. We had a close serial number example also grading PMG 64 EPQ in our January 2026 Signature auction realize $4,148. Our current offering should bring that much, if not more.
