Fr. 226 $1 1899 Silver Certificate PCGS Gem New 65PPQ.The first of the Black Eagles and a one number type with the series date above the serial number. It is also considerably scarcer than most of the Black Eagle numbers. A very nice note, it clearly fully deserves its assigned Gem PPQ grade.
