Fr. 224 $1 1896 Silver Certificate PMG Gem Uncirculated 66 EPQ. This example falls right at the beginning of a run of known uncirculated examples. As the plate position D note, it was provided a more ample bottom margin than is usually seen. The top margin, which is almost as large, boosts this note well into the Gem grade range.
