Fr. 224 $1 1896 Silver Certificate PMG Choice Extremely Fine 45 EPQ.The incredible artistry that went into the design of these banknotes caused many to be saved in excellent condition, including this example with Exceptional Paper Quality. The carefully placed, blue inked serial numbers and red seal remain as bold as the rich green back. The detailed design remains sharp on both face and back. This very mildly circulated example is certainly a worthy example of the type.
