67 PPQ.Not often are we privileged to offer an 1896 $1 Silver at this grade level. This charming Educational Ace displays nearly perfect centering and face to back registration with gorgeous ink colors, completely original paper surfaces, and a well printed depiction of History Instructing A Youth on the face, aspects which provide more than sufficient support for this note's achievement of the Superb Gem Unc level and PPQ designation. Around the border of the note are the names of various influential Americans who played key roles in the founding of the United States of America. Our current offering is tied for the finest graded Fr. 224 example at both PMG and PCGS Banknote. We auctioned another PCGS Banknote 67 PPQ certified representative in May 2024 which brought $7,500.
