Fr. 222 $1 1891 Silver Certificate Superb Gem New. Fr. 222 is a sleeper rarity which is outnumbered by its type-mate Fr. 223 by a ratio of over three to one. That is not all this Superb note has going for it, as it bears the fancy serial number E10, making it the only low serial number example we've seen of this number. Additionally, the E10 serial number is heavily offset onto the reverse of the note, an error that while it likely adds little value, certainly makes the note more interesting and desirable. Whether purchased by the error collector or a specialist in high grade type notes, this fully original and heavily embossed example is certain to delight its new owner. Est. 3,000up
