Fr. 68 $5 1875 Legal Tender PMG Gem Uncirculated 66 EPQ.While not an exceptionally rare Friedberg number, it is a rare note in this state of preservation, with PMG having graded only two examples at this level with none higher. Last on the market in a 2009 auction; this is a well margined and strictly original piece with color only seen on the best examples for the type. The lone other PMG 66-graded note brought $4,800 over four years ago in our 2018 FUN auction.
