Fr. 43 $2 1874 Legal Tender PMG Very Fine 30.A large portrait of Thomas Jefferson engraved by James Smillie and a vignette of the United States Capitol appear on this 1874 issue with the small red spiked Treasury seal. This pleasing mid-grade example has decent margins and good color. It gives the appearance of something better than Very Fine.
