Quarter Pack of 1917 Aces
Fr. 39 $1 1917 Legal Tender Notes 25 Consecutive Examples CU-Gem New.An interesting group of notes providing collectors with six cut sheets plus one extra. The notes are almost equally divided between Gem examples and CU to Choice CU notes. A few of the notes have corner bumps with the last note having a corner fold barely into the design. Included with the group is an envelope with the following hand-written inscription, "This design not issued any more. Keep these for souvenirs." These were kept intact this way for some time by the family who originally owned them and now by our consignor for almost 14 years. (Total: 25 notes)
