Fr. 30 $1 1880 Legal Tender PCGS Banknote Gem Unc 66 PPQ.The big brown seal is as bold as one will find for the issue. Each of the margins is sizeable for the type and the printed devices are perfect. In our 2023 FUN Auction, we sold an identically graded piece for a very strong $7,200. We are not sure if that was an anomaly or the beginning of a new bull market, so we will be conservative in our estimate and let the bidders decide who takes home this pretty Legal ace tonight.
