Fr. 24 $1 1875 Legal Tender PMG About Uncirculated 55 Net.The highest graded example by ten points at PMG. The highest graded at PCGS is an About New 53, which is this same note. The next closest at PCGS is a 25 and at PMG it is a 40. PMG has Net graded the note as "Retouched" which refers to a tiny masked rust dot in the top margin. This note is the top-pop piece at both services with nothing else even close. Only 21 total examples are known, and this note should reach and quite possibly exceed...
