EPQ.An attractive example, this popular type note is highlighted by four sharp corners. The bright white paper on this well preserved $10 is ideal with full embossing and deeply printed colors complementing it. The Bureau of Engraving and Printing produced only 696,000 $10 Legal Tenders for the 1923 Series, all of which were released into circulation. Fortunately for collectors, this late serial piece was quickly put aside after nearly a seven decade run for the $10 Legal Tender denomination. Only its margins preclude consideration of an even higher grade.
