Handsome PMG 64 EPQ Bison
Fr. 121 $10 1901 Mule Legal Tender PMG Choice Uncirculated 64
EPQ.Natural paper wave adorns this nicely preserved Bison. Another trait of this handsome note is its pronounced embossing of the right serial number as an unprinted area on the back directly behind the serial displays. Also, its dark inks and white paper certainly leave a favorable impression in the eyes of the beholder. We can find only one previous auction appearance for the Fr. 122 in this lot, and that was in our September 2020 Dallas auction, where it realized $5,280. We have auctioned one other PMG 64 EPQ Fr. 121 mule since then. It realized $6,900 in October 2021. Another year has passed, and we fully expect this piece to continue this upward trend.
