Gem Uncirculated Parker-Burke Bison with Vivid Color
Fr. 119 $10 1901 Legal Tender PMG Gem Uncirculated 65
EPQ.This stunning Parker-Burke Bison note is a well margined, spectacularly colored beauty. Deep serial number and Treasury Seal embossing are showcased prominently on the back of this piece, and a striking, vibrant red overprint on the face complements black and white portraits of Meriwether Lewis and William Clark. Attractive green inks on the back and excellent face to back registration are also characteristics. High grade Bisons are always in demand by collectors, but there are not nearly enough examples to satisfy this demand. The last PMG Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ representative of this number that we offered fetched $16,200 in May 2025. That number could be reached again or even exceeded tonight.
