Description

A Convocation of Forty 1899 $1 Black Eagle Silver Certificates.
Many different signature combinations appear in this grouping. Most notes grade Good-Very Good, with some a bit better and others with repairs and other characteristics that one would expect on notes within this grade range. One note in particular served as a small journal of sorts for a WWI private in which he describes, along the margins of the note, his movements and whereabouts during the battles of Argonne Forest and St. Juvin. There will be no returns on this lot for any reason. (Total: 40 notes)
