Fr. 1225g $10,000 1900 Gold Certificate PMG Very Fine 30.An elusive number of this unredeemable design that has a population figure of only a dozen as stated on page 155 of the Chambliss and Hessler reference. This is only the third example that we have auctioned. It has a San Francisco location and a rubber stamped date of "Oct 3 - 1914." It also has only two small punch cancels, and they interfere very little with any design features. Minor rust is seen along the right margin. The last Fr. 1225g that we offered was a PMG VF 35 with four larger cut out cancels. It realized $7050 in January 2016.
