Payable to the First National Bank of New York, NY, on January 27, 1912, this mid-grade $10,000 Gold is much scarcer than notes of the Fr. 1225h variation, which comprise most of the surviving population of examples of this type. This piece is one of just 22 representatives of this number reported in Track & Price. PMG comments on cancellations as well as a tape repair to one of the cancels. The note is also stained.
