Description

Fr. 1225e $10,000 1900 Gold Certificate PMG Extremely Fine 40.
This $10,000 Gold was payable to the Fourth Street National Bank of Philadelphia, PA, and it was dated August 17, 1912. A bold, small red Treasury Seal adorns the note at bottom right, and ample margins are also present. While this example has been perforation and punch cancelled, it has not attracted any meaningful condition impairments, a rarity for the series. In October 2025, a PMG AU 55 certified note fetched $3,600.
