Fr. 1220 $1,000 1922 Gold Certificate PCGS Extremely Fine
40.A new note that becomes the 43rd enumerated note for Fr. 1220. However, one is impounded in the Smithsonian and five others are found in the collections of the Federal Reserve Banks of New York, Philadelphia, and San Francisco. This is one of the nicer examples in a comment free third party holder with just a few vertical folds, white paper, and a bright orange back that is in all of its glory. We last sold a PMG 35 EPQ in our April Central States Platinum Night auction for $66,000. We feel this pretty piece should easily achieve or exceed that realization. Overall, an excellent note for an advanced or type collector.
