Lovely Very Fine 30PPQ $500 1922 Gold Certificate
Fr. 1217 $500 1922 Gold Certificate PCGS Very Fine 30PPQ.Only about 50 examples are known of this one-number type, none of which have been graded uncirculated. This is one of the very nicest examples. It's magnificently bright, with its full orange color on both sides and absolutely problem free, with strictly original surfaces and not a hint of a defect. The blue serial numbers, bright red seal and vibrant gold overprint on the face along with the razor-sharp, lifelike Lincoln vignette give this note explosive eye appeal. We've seen several examples in technically higher grade, but if you are looking for pure originality and fresh color, this new to the census piece is the one for you.
