EPQ.Only about ten percent of the population of Friedberg 1187s are mules. There still is not much of a premium, as on this Friedberg number, ten percent is still approximately 900 notes. Nonetheless, this is an extremely nice piece with heavy original embossing, perfect colors, and broad even margins. In our recent Central States auction, an identically graded Mule example fetched $4,440. This examples carries John Burke Mule Back Plate #122.
