Fr. 1180 $20 1905 Gold Certificate PMG Gem Uncirculated 65
EPQ.The "technicolor note" certainly describes this pristine $20 1905 Gold Certificate whose black, red, yellow-gold, and orange colors all remain as vibrant as the day this note was printed. The paper is bright, with original surfaces and the note has well matched margins and excellent face-to-back registration. The note features a portrait of Washington engraved by Alfred Sealey on the face and the Great Seal of the United States engraved by Robert Ponickau on the back. While not a "top pop" contender, this note is in the upper reaches of the population, with only 11 out of 240 reported notes having higher grades.
