Gem Uncirculated Boston $20 - First Offering in Over A Decade
Fr. 966 $20 1914 Federal Reserve Note PMG Gem Uncirculated 65
EPQ.We have not offered a Gem Uncirculated Fr. 966 $20 from the Boston district since our April 2013 CSNS auction. In that appearance, there were two Gem 65 EPQ/PPQ examples. One was our current offering, which was in a PCGS Gem New 65PPQ holder and realized $3,818. The other note was a PMG Gem 65 EPQ that realized $4,406. The piece in this lot features serial number embossing and beautiful green color on the back. PMG has graded just two examples at the 65 EPQ level. We expect that our conservative estimate will easily be exceeded.
