Fr. 961b $20 1914 Red Seal Federal Reserve Note PMG Very Fine 25.Part of a Track & Price record of only nine examples of this number, this elusive piece, hailing from the Kansas City district, is characterized by balanced margins, nice color, and observable but even wear. In May 2025, we offered a PMG VF 30 piece with minor repairs and small holes which fetched $2,400. In October 2024, we auctioned a PMG VF 20 certified piece with discoloration which brought $1,620. Given those two results, we will conservatively estimate in the middle of those two prices. Our current offering is happily free of any meaningful condition problems.
