Fr. 833b $5 1914 Red Seal Federal Reserve Note PCGS Superb Gem
New 68PPQ.PMG has not graded a single example of this number at this level. PCGS has graded this note and one other. We have sold the other note on two occasions since 2010 where it has realized a shade over $17,000 and just over $11,000. This particular note is reaching the auction block for the first time in a third party holder and we would expect a realization just about in the middle of what the other note reached in its appearances. As one would expect for a PCGS 68PPQ, the note is spectacular with every possible positive attribute. The most immediately striking is its simply spectacular color.
