20.A Chicago $1,000 with serial number G14343A, this note has had only two auction appearances and both have been with us. The latest auction participation of this comment free example was in our May 2022 CSNS auction when it realized $18,000. This was also our last offering of this Friedberg number at the VF 20 grade level. Our current offering faces up nicely for the grade, while the back exhibits light wallet staining. Track & Price has documented 26 examples of Fr. 1133-G and two of those are out of reach of collectors as they are in the collections of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco and the Smithsonian Institution.
