Fr. 1104 $100 1914 Federal Reserve Note PCGS Gem New 66PPQ.A delightful example that we last auctioned in January 2007. Since then it has only been in the possession of our consignor, who has shown a discerning eye over the years. The lovely traits of this note that we wrote about then still ring true today. It has huge margins and both ideal paper and ink color. Add in the fact that both sides are beautifully centered and you have a $100 FRN with eye appeal to equal any we have seen. The last Fr. 1104 that we auctioned at this third party grade was a PMG 66 EPQ, sold for $7,050 in August 2014. A reasonable estimate in today's more dynamic climate for Gem notes should be at the level of. . .
