One of Only Two Cleveland Fr. 1098 $100 1914 FRN Stars
Fr. 1098* $100 1914 Federal Reserve Star Note PMG Very Fine
25.One of only two stars that has been recorded in Track & Price for Fr. 1098*. For all districts of Series 1914 $100 stars, the census stands at a measly 19 recorded serial numbers. D252* in this lot was the second example to emerge from the shadows. That was in 2012 and it has not been auctioned since. We offered the other example in May 2025. It graded PMG 35 in a comment free holder and realized $13,200. Our current offering has three pinholes in and near the portrait, but remains attractive with nice color and a minimum of folds for the grade.
