Fr. 1079b $100 1914 Red Seal Federal Reserve Note PMG Very Fine
30.This is a bright and very appealing example of this very rare St. Louis $100 Red Seal that is one of only 19 pieces in the census, just one of which has been graded above the Very Fine 30 level by either of the major services. This piece has sustained just light, even wear and retains a bold red overprint. It is the finest example of this Friedberg number to be publicly offered since we auctioned another PMG Very Fine 30 note for $9,000 seven years ago.
