Fine 40.A lovely example, this very rare Richmond $100 Red Seal has the look of a higher graded note within its holder. In fact, it was once called a full AU example by another auction house. It is the finest of just seven pieces recorded for this Friedberg number with its closest competitor grading Very Fine 30. It displays bright paper, brilliant ink colors, and just a few light folds. Last on the market in a 2012 auction, it also bears a neat "radar" serial number of 21112.
