Description

Ex: Midwest Collection $50 FRBN

Fr. 831 $50 1918 Federal Reserve Bank Note PCGS About New 50.
Tucked away for nearly a decade, this high grade St. Louis $50 Federal Reserve Bank was last offered in our 2002 Central States Signature Auction. Its description read in part, "This note, from the Midwest Collection, is a new number to the census, which now numbers about 50 pieces. St. Louis was the only district to issue Fifties, and this is the only signature combination, making Fr. 831 a one-number type. The note is nicely margined, well centered on both sides and problem-free." Little has changed in regards to the census, as it still totals 51 examples.
