Fr. 809 $5 1918 Federal Reserve Bank Note PCGS Extremely Fine 40PPQ.Our consignor has owned this Fr. 809 for a long time and therefore it has escaped Track & Price. Our current offering bumps the population figure up to a meager 21 serial numbers in T&P and it becomes the sole third highest graded. The highest grade bestowed by PMG for this Friedberg number is a solitary XF 40. June 2021 saw us auction that PMG XF 40 example for $3,600. The few folds observed through the third party encasement explains why the piece in this lot earned the PPQ grade modifier.
